This role is budgeted up to a base salary of $85,000. A comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, inventory accounting, and cost allocation activities
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold to ensure accurate financial reporting
Partner with operations and production teams to evaluate manufacturing performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve process efficiency
Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and financial statements, translating data into actionable insights for leadership
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis to support strategic decision-making
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to ensure alignment between financial results and business objectives
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ; CPA or MBA preferred
2+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or cost accounting roles
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas) and familiarity with ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills — able to translate financial data into clear business insights
