Summary:

Responsible for Production
Ensure safe working environment, raise safety issues and help implement safety improvements
Schedule personnel by line and position
Training of line personnel and document training in system and on paper
Production documentation
Print out daily paperwork
Review daily paperwork for accuracy
Train personnel on proper paperwork and reduce errors
Provide support on the production line
Understand production targets
Identify reasons for missing targets and recommend actions
Work with engineering to improve line function
Ensure materials are staged when needed
Inventory of general supplies and operating materials
Manage operational tasks and ensure employees are properly trained
Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly operated
Support maintenance of all equipment and ensure daily and weekly cleaning is done properly
Support minor maintenance for equipment such as coders, tapers, etc.
Assist in changeovers
Support SOP development and improvement in areas of responsibility
